Let's take a closer look at how it works:

Open the Event Builder tab

Select the Football or Basketball sports menu, and choose the 'Event Builder' tab.

Choose your teams

Select two teams you want to match up from the list of available fixtures. For example, imagine Arsenal are playing Manchester United and Real Madrid are playing Barcelona.

You can match up these teams in any combination. So you might choose Manchester United vs Barcelona or Arsenal vs Madrid.

When you have selected your two teams, hit 'Calculate Odds' to see a full range of odds, including Match Result, Correct Score, Unders/Overs markets and much more.

Place your bets as if you were betting on any other match.

How does my bet win?

Bets are settled with the stats from each game you have matched up. Let's return to the example above.

You bet on Arsenal to beat Madrid. If Arsenal score more goals in their game versus Man United than Madrid score against Barcelona, your bet on Arsenal is a winner.

This means there are many winning combinations. For example:

• Arsenal won 2-0 and Madrid won 1-0 (Bet is settled as a 1-0 Arsenal win)
• Arsenal won 1-0 and Madrid drew 0-0 (Bet is settled as a 1-0 Arsenal win)
• Arsenal lost 3-5 and Madrid won 2-1 (Bet is settled as a 3-2 Arsenal win)
• Arsenal lost 1-2, and Madrid lost 0-1 (Bet is settled as a 1-0 Arsenal win)
• Arsenal drew 2-2 and Madrid drew 1-1 (Bet is settled as a 2-1 Arsenal win)
